Yikes!  That almost looks like an ant pulling a loaf of bread.   Shocked

There's lots of light coming through the right side trailer wheel... No trailer brakes???

Anybody recognize the make and model of the camper?  I'm wondering how much that thing weighs.  1,500 lbs or more???  You know they have to carry everything in the camper.

It's a Coachmen Clipper (no, I don't recognize it, but enlarge is ctrl + on my browser). Could it be the Clipper Express? It looks tiny.

From what I could find, seems more like a Coleman Clipper Sport series. The Express looks to have a 'soft' roof (covered with a cloth trap) as opposed to a hard roof but it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong

Definitely have to carry everything in the PU since the trunk on the Solstice is actually a console between the 2 seats. The area where the trunk would be is for the top. If the top is up it has a decent amount of room to put stuff but put the top down and no room at all. they are a fun car to drive through, like a mini vette, especially if its the gxp with the turbo charged engine. SWEET SET UP THOUGH! Grin

Reminds me of when I was 16 and looking for my first (used) car...my dad insisted you don't buy a used car with a hitch. Never know what it was hauling.

(He also said the same thing about British and Italian cars, and in my price range that was probably smart.)

In this case the car still weighs much more (almost twice as much) as the trailer.  Not such a bad thing.

If the TV is very stable which the Solstice probably is then handling the trailer weight is not much of an issue.

We are in the same boat.  We keep the car as light as possible as not to overload it.  Our stuff goes in the trailer mostly over the trailer axles.  Since the trailer axles and tires are rated for over 4 tons we are well within those limits.  This keeps the trailer tongue weight in the zone and also keeps the car in spec (axle ratings).

Handles great.

How about this for a tow vehicle?  Of course, the trailer would need wings.  Wink

That Vette would make an excellent tow vehicle!

Kewl a Vette that transforms into a Ferrari!

If a Maserati can tow a full height so should the Vet.  This Maserati comes with a Ferrari engine....lol...not fair!

'Vette?!  Not.  Bite your tongue, er, keyboard.

Top speed on that rocket is 203 mph.  That's stock.  I'm sure the custom ones are probably more.

That's the only sports car I've ever been interested in owning.  Since the last time I knew what one cost they were about $400,000 (used) I'm not holding my breath.

I wrecked one on paper once by having one of my characters drive it under a logging truck.  I cried for a week.

$ 400 000 and the rims match Fleetwoods!

Where do you find 200mph rated trailer tires and what type of WDH is recommended at those speeds?

Hope the right picture is in my post now.  Anyone else see a red car?

Yup, I see that sweet red "vette".  Wish I could have/and or afford one like that.  But I doubt I could even afford the insurance on one.  Happy with my two little tow vehicles and my PUP.
