FIRST TIME OWNER JUST BOUGHT GREAT CONDITION 1976 JAYCO FINCH(would like adivce)

Just bought a 76 jayco finch from a friend whos family has had it since new, its in nice condition and was treated well, I was wondering if anyone out there has one or has had one that has any first time owner advice for this model and tips and comments. We dont plan on doing any cross country with it but we do plan on getting as much use out of it as possible when winter goes away since we do live in wisconsin. And feel free to suggest any upgrades or accessories to this model you can think of.
Sincerely,
Brandon and Jennifer of Wisconsin

Just a word of caution. If you leave that email addy up there you're asking for tons of spam. Not saying you should remove it just be aware.
I'm sure someone will be along soon to give advice about your model. Enjoy reading while you wait.
P.S. All caps are hard to read. It's much better to leave the CAPS LOCK off when posting.

Brandon,
Ive got an 85 Jayco 1006, and I would suggest you just look at what you want that you don't have, determine if your rig can handle it structurally/electricly/spacially if applicable...then go for it.
Happy Camping!!

thank you guys for the welcomes and advice about posting and the advice about leaving itstock, yes we do plan on leaving it stock, there are a couple things i would like to change tho, like the stabilizer arms in the back are rusted and need replacing but amazingly enough the frame has no rust, and i would love to find a easy to install set of fold down steps or something for the door because i do have problems with my left leg. also the last owners said the electrical is no longer set up to use battery's only generator or extension cord, i would really like to set it up to have batteries also as a back up. also i would like to install a fridge because al it has is a ice box. other then that yes i will be leaving it stock, and i might repaint it someday only because its 2 tone and the darker colors are faded pretty good from being a Wisconsin trailer and dealing with winters, but other then all that its mainly staying stock. and yes we will be going camping as soon as winters done, i tried to talk the wife in going out now while its only in the 30's at night, but she refused haha. well keep the advice coming and cant wait to talk to you all in the future.
sincerely,
Brandon and Jennifer from the northwoods in Wisconsin.
