Guess I had better throw in my suggestion. The front rack on a 4-wheeler makes a great seat for the DW thats just the right height and most trails we go down others won't or don't know about especially at night. Course its harder with kids but thats half the reason I'm putting an awning on BOTH sides of the camper. Which ever side doesn't have other campers near by is the side the wheeler gets parked.

I'm single but my best friend is married. He and his wife (and their 2 kids) sleep on the full-sized bunk and dinette table (respectively) - and I sleep on the queen bunk (it is, after all, my trailer) -- and I sleep with my feet towards the inside of the camper since I sleep on my stomach with arms in front. But I digress.
I was kidding with my buddy after the first Memorial Day campout (which was my FIRST time camping in my PUP), that I'd have to go in the camper alone sometime and christen it. He laughed and said "I got ya beat, bud!".
I said "Where was I?" .. jokingly.
He said "On the other side, sound asleep."
So I kid them now, and set my camera up on the cabinet, pointed their way... :)
-----------------
Another friend of mine (they owned my PUP before I did and now have a TT), before they owned a camper, slept in their Astro van at the CG. One evening they were ... making the van rock .. and the back doors weren't as closed as they thought. Then they weren't closed ... AT ALL. They still to this day hope that anyone wasn't walking by as they finished.. :)

Until I read this thread I never guessed what the camper brand name "RockWood" might have meant.

My DW and I have been tent camping since we got married 10 years ago.
Having 3 DS's under 5 has made camping a little difficult the last couple of years. We've talked about getting a TT, but she insisted that it not be a pop-up. As a lark about two months ago, we stoped at a dealer, and looked at some pop-ups.
The DW was impressed and changed her mind. We now have a 2001 Coleman Mesa, and have been out two weekends now. Each time I've tried to get her to christian the pop-up, but with no luck
We came across the pux form, and have enjoyed it very much. the DW came across this thread, told me about it, and now thanks, maybe, maybe

Hi all,
I'm brand new to this forum. I've had it tagged for a while, and just read every post in this thread. Learned quite a bit about rocking campers and laughed hard at the same time. (also to take walks around campgrounds for shows) I've been camping as a family since about 2007, and I think I've been lucky enough to christen most of the places we've been, after reading this though, I'm gonna enlist the DW to make it a goal for every place.
Regards and be well.
